Lodging links point to Expedia. Activity cards point to GetYourGuide and Viator, which sell the snowshoe tour, the Denver day trips and the town walking tour listed on the guide. Gear links in the what-to-wear list go to Amazon: this site is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising programme that pays a commission on qualifying purchases.

Nothing on this site links to a dog sledding operator, paid or unpaid. There is no affiliate programme for dog sledding in Colorado — every kennel takes bookings on its own site or by phone — so the guide describes the activity generically and sends you nowhere for it.

What the commission does not buy

Placement, ratings and wording are not for sale, and no company has paid to appear here or to be described in a particular way.

The activities listed are chosen on rating and review count, not on commission rate. Hotels are ordered by what they suit — lift access, town centre, a kitchen for a family — with the guest score printed next to each so you can disagree with the ordering.

Prices and ratings

Prices, guest scores and review counts are the platforms' own, read on the date each page states and re-checked every quarter. They move — Breckenridge lodging in particular swings by a factor of two between a midweek February night and New Year — so treat every figure here as a ranking aid and confirm the real number at checkout.
